Here are some recommended places to stay at Killington. Either people in the Killington house or guests have stayed at some of the below hotels.  All rates below are ballpark costs. Listed in order of quality. (All are located somewhere on the Access Road)

Mountain Green Resort - 800-336-7754

Best location in terms of being near the mountain. Is set up in condo style and has all the amenities expected in a 200+ unit resort.  

Rates vary depending on the room size. Studios run about $200 per nite during the season and $120 per nite off season

Killington Grand Resort - 1-800-621-MTNS

Can walk to lifts from this resort. Has all the amenities you need. Has a condo feel to it as many of the units are timeshares. Rooms, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites are available. If you want to spend top dollar to be walking distance to the slopes, this is it.

Rates start about $180 per nite winter season and $100 per nite off season.

Inn of Six Mountains - 800/621-6867

Located on the Access Road, one of the nicer places to stay in the Killington area. This 4 story, 100 room Inn is more of hotel than an Inn. For a nice comfortable weekend, this is a good option. Also opened all year long. A 3 star resort by AAA.

North Star - 800-422-2296

A 75 room hotel located on the Access Road. A pretty good place to stay. Complete with indoor pool and Jacuzzi.

Rates are about $140 per nite in season and $90 per nite off season.

Red Rob Inn - 1-800-451-4105

A moderate + quality place to stay located on the access road about a mile from Killington. Have stayed here several times and recommend it. More of a hotel than an Inn.

Mid season rates run about $300 for 2 weekend nites with breakfast. Off season rates are about $100 per nite including breakfast

Mountain Sports Inn - (888)422-3315

Best bang for the buck. If you are looking for a moderate hotel, this is it. It's very reasonable priced with good location on the Access Road.  Rooms are decent and the hotel has a hot tub. It's more of a hotel than an Inn. Have stayed here several times during the summer months.

 Mid season runs around $125 per nite double occ. Early/late season rates run in the mid $70s per nite double occ.

Comfort Inn - 800-257-8664

You know what to expect with a Comfort Inn. This one is a tad nicer than your standard Comfort Inn.

Winter rates run about $100 per nite and $85 per nite off season for 2 double beds. Room rates vary depending on # of beds and room size.

Happy Bear Motel - 1-800-518-4468

The pro is location right across from Pickle Barrel and low cost. The con is these are the most basic rooms Killington has to offer. It's the most basic hotel I ever stayed at. Not recommended unless you are on a tight budget and don't care where you stay. Otherwise, try someplace else. 

Mid season runs around $100 per nite and off season runs around $70 per nite.
